The Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and the Fundraising Regulator released a joint GDPR guidance on the 26 February 2018. This guidance has been approved by the main regulator of GDPR the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Charity Commission – Consultation for managing relationships with organisations that are not charities
The Charity Commission has launched a consultation process on draft guidance on how charities should manage their relationships with organisations that aren’t charities.
Charity Commission – Funding Update
On 22 January 2018, the Charity Commission announced that it had been awarded additional government funding of £5 million per year. This was as an interim solution to help it respond to an increase in demand on its core regulatory functions, including registration and compliance.
