Jonathan Lipman
Group General Counsel, Mercedes-Benz UK
Jonathan Lipman has been Group General Counsel at Mercedes-Benz UK since November 2013. He leads a team of 12 who provide a wide variety of legal advice to the Mercedes-Benz Group in the UK. It operates wholesale, retail, finance and insurance businesses across the passenger car and van markets. Jonathan’s team also advises the high-performance powertrains business (F1 engines). Before working for Mercedes-Benz, Jonathan was Head of Legal Affairs for seven years at PSA Peugeot Citroen.
James Dickinson
General Counsel, Secretariat and Corporate Services Legal, Centrica plc
James leads a team of in-house lawyers and company secretarial professionals supporting all Centrica plc’s corporate governance and corporate legal requirements. After beginning his career at Freshfields, James has been with Centrica over 10 years holding a variety of roles, including as lead legal business partner to the management teams of different business divisions. Centrica’s Group includes British Gas, the UK’s leading energy supply and in-home servicing provider serving over 9 million homes.
Glyn Richards
Group Director of Sustainability, Bupa
Glyn is Bupa’s Group Director of Sustainability and is responsible for shaping and implementing a global, organisation-wide sustainability strategy; directing Bupa’s environment and climate action plan (including delivery of Bupa’s Net Zero commitment) and embedding it into strategy, risk and operations. Joining Bupa in 2014, Glyn has previously held roles in Strategy and Legal functions with a particular focus on M&A, joint ventures and operations in the Middle East and Asia.
Glyn also worked as a corporate lawyer in a large international law firm based in London, as well as spending time working in a leading bank in Austria and other regulated industries in the UK. Glyn currently resides in London, UK but has also lived and worked in Asia and mainland Europe.
