Alex is a Solicitor within the Banking & Finance team based in our London office.
Main areas of practice
Alex has completed trainee seats in our Banking, Construction and Intellectual Property teams. Prior to his training contract, Alex has been a paralegal in our Regulatory business group.
Returning to Banking as a qualified Solicitor, Alex will be assisting the London team in representing both lenders and borrowers in various types of funding transactions, particularly, debt financing relating to acquisition, investment and real estate.

Alex has worked with both institutional clients who have complex requirements and individuals. His broad range of experience across many types of client allow him to quickly identify the client’s objectives and shape his advice to fit the client’s requirements, with a focus on commerciality and practical application.

Career
Alex joined Blake Morgan in September 2020 as a paralegal, before beginning his training contract in September 2021. Previously, Alex worked for six months at a national law firm in their Real Estate team.
He has an LLB (Hons) with International Legal Studies from the University of Southampton, having studied for a year at Dalhousie University, in Nova Scotia, Canada. He studied his MSc LPC in Law & Business at the University of Law, Guildford.
Alex qualified as a Solicitor in March 2023.
