Amy is an Associate in the Private Client team based in our Oxford office.
Main areas of practice
Amy is a junior solicitor in the team who helps advise clients on a wide range of matters, including dealing with the administration of estates and advising executors and administrators, drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney and advising clients on trusts.
Clients
Amy acts for a variety of clients, from individuals in their capacity as trustees or executors or administrators of an estate, to individuals wishing to create a will or lasting powers of attorney.
Expertise
Career
Amy graduated from the University of Southampton in 2014 with a First Class Honours Degree in Law. She then worked in various sectors, including the Armed Forces and care industry, before pursuing her legal career and becoming a paralegal. In 2018, Amy received a Distinction in the LPC LLM from The University of Law, Guildford and was awarded the University of Law Price for Highest Average Mark and the Penningtons Manches Prize for Highest Mark in Private Client.
She started her training contract at Blake Morgan in September 2018 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2020. After working in the Commercial Property team for a year and eight months, both as a trainee and a solicitor, Amy joined the Private Client team in April 2021. She was promoted to Associate in November 2023.

Additional Expertise
Amy had two years’ previous experience as a legal assistant in Commercial Property before becoming a trainee solicitor at Blake Morgan in 2018. She has worked in the Commercial Litigation team, advising businesses and individuals on civil disputes, the Commercial Property team, advising large corporate tenants on a wide range of property law, and also has experience working in the South Coast Private Client team.
