Candice Rogers

Candice is a Senior Associate in our Cardiff office, specialising in professional regulation, acting on behalf of a range of clients.

Main areas of practice

Candice acts on behalf of professional regulatory bodies in relation to fitness to practice investigations and proceedings, advising on professional disciplinary matters involving health and social care professionals. Candice regularly sits as Presenting Legal Officer to professional conduct panels and presents cases before fitness to practise/professional misconduct panels.

Clients

Candice acts on behalf of Social Care Wales (SCW), as Legal Presenting Officer at interim order applications and reviews, and pre hearing reviews and substantive hearing. She also acts on behalf of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), managing fitness to practise investigations and preparing cases for hearings. She also advises the HCPC in relation to both interim order reviews and interim order extension applications to the High Court.

Career

Candice graduated from Lancaster University in 2006 and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2008. She qualified as a solicitor in 2013.
