Caroline is a Regulatory Law and Professional Discipline Solicitor and Advocate.

Prior to moving into Regulatory Law, Caroline worked in the field of Criminal litigation as both a Solicitor and Advocate for over 10 years.

Main areas of practice

Since specialising in Professional Regulatory she regulatory appears before fitness to practise panels presenting complex and multifaceted final hearings, case management hearings and interim orders hearings on behalf of the HCPC.

Caroline also is a Case Manager alongside her advocacy role, investigating and preparing Fitness to Practise matters. She assists others with their case preparation by providing advice on evidential and procedural matters to in-house colleagues and external clients.

Caroline Primarily undertakes work for the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) however she will also advices other caseworkers for regulatory bodies including, Social Care England, Teachers Regulation Agency, the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA).

Caroline graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Politics and Sociology before completing a Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE). She then completed her Legal Practice Certificate (LLC) at BPP Law School in London.

After qualifying Caroline spent over 10 years in Criminal Defence at a top tier Legal500 firm representing clients at Police Stations, Magistrates, Crown Courts and the Court of Appeal.

Caroline moved on to another top tier firm in the Legal500 to begin her career in Regulatory Advocacy in 2022 before joining Blake Morgan in 2023.
