Career

Gemma graduated from Cardiff University with an LLB in Law and obtained a distinction on the LPC from Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. Gemma has both public and private sector experience, having previously worked for a local authority and barrister’s chambers. Gemma joined Blake Morgan as a paralegal in May 2014.

Before starting her training contract, Gemma spent three years’ as a paralegal in the firm’s Succession and Tax team. During this time, Gemma specialised in probate and estate administration, with a particular focus on intestate estates. Gemma also gained experience in the resealing of foreign grants of probate and in obtaining English probate where the deceased died domiciled overseas.
