Jamila is an Associate Barrister in Blake Morgan’s Regulatory team, specialising in professional discipline.
Main areas of practice
Jamila works as a barrister in the highly regarded Regulatory department. She has experience preparing and presenting cases at interim and final hearings on behalf of professional regulators (including the Health and Care Professions Council, Social Care Wales and Education and Work Force Council). Jamila also assists with case preparation by providing case progression advice regarding evidential and procedural matters to in-house case managers and clients.
Clients
Jamila primarily undertakes work for the HCPC. However, she is working towards broadening her practice to include working for Social Care Wales, Teachers Regulation Agency and Solicitors Regulation Authority.
