Kaya Williams

Kaya is a trainee solicitor based in the Cardiff office. After completing her first seat in Construction, she is currently in her commercial litigation seat.

Main areas of practice

Kaya assists her colleagues in a wide variety of commercial disputes ranging from educational matters to Court of protection cases. Kaya drafts and files court documents, attends client meetings and conducts legal research to support her colleagues.

Within the commercial litigation seat, Kaya supports a range of clients including councils, educational bodies, and private companies.

Career

Kaya graduated from her LLB in 2021 and then completed the combined Legal Practice Course and Masters in 2022. All of Kaya’s studies were completed at Cardiff University.

She went on to work for Cardiff University as a contracts assistant (paralegal) for the research and innovation team.

Kaya attended the vacation scheme with Blake Morgan in June 2023 and started her training contract at the firm in March 2024.
