Lewis is a Solicitor in the Banking & Finance department in London. This involves aiding in all stages of banking and other financial transactions on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.
Main areas of practice
Lewis supports the Band 1 Banking & Finance team in their work on equity and debt finance transactions. His responsibilities include drafting key finance and ancillary documentation, transaction and document management and corporate support work. Lewis has experience on a wide variety of transactions, including complex multi-party structured finance and securitisation deals.
Clients
Lewis acts for lenders, including major UK banks, borrowers, including SMEs, and on mid-tier corporate transactions.

Lewis joined Blake Morgan in early 2021 as a Case Investigator in the Regulatory team and transferred later in the same year into the Banking and Finance team.
In 2020 Lewis completed an LLB Law Degree at the University of Newcastle, going on to gain a Commendation in his Fast-Track LPC at BPP Holborn. He has previously worked for Baker McKenzie London on a vacation scheme, as well as on an overseas student placement in Tai Pei, Taiwan.
His previous experience includes a summer internship with the Office of General Council at International Justice Ministry, based at their main office in Washington D.C. He also has previous voluntary legal experience with LegaCare and WorldVision International.
Lewis qualified as a solicitor in March 2024.
