Prashant Dave

Prashant is an experienced real estate lawyer. He is a partner and heads the London Real Estate team, advising on all aspects of commercial real estate with a focus on investment and commercial and residential development. He also regularly advises on strategic land transactions including options, pre-emption and promotion agreements. His clients include investment funds, developers, property investment companies and landed estates.

Prashant also advises a number of corporate occupiers (including tech companies, nursery operators and operators in the hospitality and retail sectors) on their acquisitions, disposals, lease renewals and general portfolio management.

Main areas of practice

He advises on the full range of commercial real estate work including investment acquisitions and disposals, mixed use/residential developments, strategic land transactions and leasing (for both landlords and tenants).

Prashant’s clients include investment funds, developers, property investment companies, landed estates and corporate occupiers in various sectors including tech companies, nursery operators and operators in the hospitality sector.

Significant experience

Investment: acting on investment acquisitions (include sale and leaseback transactions) across various sectors including office, retail, industrial/distribution warehouses, data centres and build to rent with values between £5m to £100m.

Development: acting on a number of commercial and residential development projects from site acquisition/assembly through to pre-lets, funding (including forward funding) and finally disposals of the completed and let investment.

Landed estates: on-going asset management advice including leasing and development across various use types.

Hospitality: acting for a number of restaurant operators (including well known chains) on their restaurant acquisitions, including high value sites in central London.
