Rachel is an Associate in the Regulatory team, based in our Cardiff office.

Main areas of practice

Rachel primarily acts for healthcare regulators, providing advice on professional disciplinary matters. She assists the team with defending criminal prosecutions brought by the HSE and also assists with Coroner’s Inquests.

Rachel presents cases before interim order panels on behalf of a social care regulator.

She has previous experience in Commercial Property, dealing with various property matters.

Clients

Rachel manages fitness to practise investigations on behalf of the Health and Care Professions Council and the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Rachel also acts on behalf of Social Care Wales in interim order hearings.

Career

Rachel completed her Legal Practice Course in 2018, achieving a Distinction.

Prior to starting her training contract, Rachel worked as a paralegal within the firm, in the Real Estate team, dealing predominantly with our social housing clients.

Rachel subsequently started her training contract in 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2022.
