Rebecca Whitehead

As Business Development Manager for Blake Morgan’s South Coast region, Rebecca leads the development and implementation of the BD and marketing strategy, campaigns and senior stakeholder relationships.

Main areas of practice

Rebecca has responsibility for the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Corporate and Commercial Recoveries & Travel Business Groups and firmwide cross-practice forum, NED Connect. The role involves working closely with key Partners, HR, and marketing and bids teams.

Rebecca works closely with these groups to help colleagues improve understanding of markets and commercial propositions, developing closer client relationships and, ultimately, a better business.

Career

Rebecca joined Blake Morgan from the University of Southampton where she worked within the central Research & Innovation team and latterly the Optoelectronics Research Centre. Both these roles involved working closely with business development and technology transfer teams, leading on the development of University and business partnerships.

Additionally, Rebecca brings with her significant experience and a long career within communications, public relations and strategic engagement for a wide variety of commercial organisations.
