Rob is a partner in the Corporate team of Blake Morgan LLP, based primarily in the Cardiff office, specialising in corporate tax.
Main areas of practice
Rob is an experienced specialist in both UK domestic and cross-border tax and a Chartered Tax Adviser. Rob was awarded the Chartered Institute of Taxation’s prestigious Lexis Nexis prize for his performance on the Chartered Tax Adviser examinations.
Covering all industries and sectors, Rob’s advice spans tax issues relevant to an extensive range of transactions from debt finance and private equity transactions, management buy-outs and equity arrangements, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, group structuring and reorganisations, distressed acquisitions and reorganisations and share scheme work.
He has developed an expertise in corporate tax structuring, particularly for private equity transactions and management buy outs.

Rob has experience working with a diverse range of clients, from private equity funds and large multi-national businesses to UK groups, family owned businesses, start-ups and individuals.

Career
Rob completed LLB in Law at the University of Bristol before moving on to study his LPC at the University of Law. Before joining Blake Morgan LLP Rob spent over 10 years working in the tax practices of international law firms.
