Sarah is based in our London office and is a member of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. She undertakes both commercial litigation and contentious insolvency work as well as running a successful agency practice, acting for other law firms and in house legal teams, in relation to all stages of court processes and representation, including acting as UK agent in Privy Council cases.

Main areas of practice

Sarah’s commercial litigation work mainly involves assisting her clients in settling a wide range of disputes either through the courts or through mediation or negotiated settlement. Her insolvency work centres on asset recovery actions, where the firm acts for insolvency practitioners, bringing claims for the benefit of the insolvent estate (such as claims to set aside preferences and transactions at an undervalue or defrauding creditors or applications for possession and sale).

She also advises on technical and procedural issues regarding the Insolvency Act and Rules and in connection with applications brought under those provisions concerning the exercise of an office holder, powers and functions.

Sarah’s clients include companies and organisations, insolvency practitioners and also other law firms and in house legal teams in the UK and abroad in relation to the agency work.
