Simon has over 30 years’ experience as a transactional finance lawyer with a strong background in real estate finance, corporate banking and restructuring, advising both lenders and borrowers.
Main areas of practice
A specialist in all aspects of REF (including land transaction, development and investment finance), Simon has a particular focus on later living and hotels.
Simon has significant restructuring experience, including debt advisory.

Through his corporate banking practice, Simon advises a range of clients including institutions, corporates and entrepreneurs.

Having originally trained at a major City firm (via Newcastle University and Chester Law School), Simon has worked in a number of well-known national firms and in his last role, ran the Finance, Corporate & Insolvency teams for a major national practice.
