Blake Morgan achieves ISO 14001 Environmental Standard Certification
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Standard certification following two audits over recent months. This certification is the latest example of the firm demonstrating its commitment to being a sustainable and environmentally conscious business.
The ISO 14001 Environmental Standard sets out clear, robust criteria for an environmental management system and provides a framework for organisations from any industry or sector to follow, in order to produce an effective environmental management system. The standard is an internationally recognised way of providing assurance to company management and employees, as well as external stakeholders, that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
The news of Blake Morgan’s certification comes hot on the heels of another recent achievement that also highlights its commitment to sustainability. Last month the firm was able to announce it had been awarded a silver medal rating by Eco-Vadis for its sustainability practices, placing the firm in the top nine per cent of those certified in the legal and accounting sectors.
