Blake Morgan advise on sale of regional waste management company
Blake Morgan has advised the shareholders of Hughes & Salvidge Waste Management Limited on its sale to South West based McCarthy Marland in a multi-million pound transaction.
The transformational deal, supported by Shawbrook Bank, sees McCarthy Marland double the size of its operation, which now includes two additional sites, Aasvogel operating in Wantage, Oxfordshire and Valley Trading in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Hughes & Salvidge Waste Management has been a long-standing client of Blake Morgan which has supported its growth strategy for over a decade.
Former Hughes & Salvidge Waste Management Limited shareholder and director, Jean Stevenson, commented: “Having gone through a successful company sale processes before, it’s very much bitter sweet for us selling a great business that the Hughes & Salvidge Waste Management team have built up and developed over a number of years. We are pleased to handover the business to another family run regional player and wish the McCarthy Marland team well in taking the business through to the next stage of its development.”
