Blake Morgan Corporate Partner Mat Wilson commented:

We are delighted to have advised PHD on this important step forward for them, entering the UK and European markets is crucial for their growth. Acquisitions can by their nature be complex, however we were able to support PHD across a range of issues due to our cross-sector expertise. I would like to thank everyone who worked so well together on this transaction. With Bliss now part of the PHD family, Jim and the PHD team have an excellent platform to build on an already successful business here in the UK and Europe.

PHD’s managing member, Jim Grant, stated: “We could not be more excited to enter the UK and EU markets through this acquisition and feel we have the perfect match with Bliss. The staff have experience, passion, and dedication to providing customers the absolute best buying experience in Europe. The European sports card market is expanding and has enormous potential for growth. PHD plans to be on the forefront of providing retailer and breaker support for sports trading cards.”
