Blake Morgan celebrates performance in Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2022
Leading law firm Blake Morgan is celebrating after its Private Client group and six of its lawyers have been ranked in the Chambers High Net Worth 2022 Guide – the go-to guide for private wealth advisers looking for intelligent support and advice.
The firm’s Private Client teams in Oxford, Wales and Southampton have all been recognised for their support, expertise and guidance in this year’s Guide. The Oxford and Wales teams achieved Band 2 rankings. The Oxford team was praised for its ‘excellent communication and an understanding of complex situations.’ Similarly, the Wales team was described as ‘technically very strong and able to distil difficult issues so clients can understand matters and take well-informed decisions.’ The Southampton team achieved a Band 3 ranking, with market experts referencing the team’s ‘significant breadth of expertise’ and ‘high level of service.’
The guide also recognised individual performance among some of the firm’s top performing lawyers. Nicky Sherrard (Wales) and Jonathan Sleep (Southampton) were named as ‘Associates to Watch’, while James Greig (Oxford) and Lisa Davies (Wales) achieved Band 2 rankings for the second consecutive year, with clients describing them as ‘meticulous’ and ‘excellent’ respectively. Paula Shea (Southampton) was recognised once again this year, receiving a Band 3 ranking, and was described as a lawyer who ‘has that approach with lay clients that makes her very reassuring.’ Stephanie Walls (Thames Valley), who has now retired, achieved a Band 1 ranking for the second consecutive year, with market experts recognising that ‘she is clearly near the top of the tree in terms of her knowledge and experience.’
