Blake Morgan confirmed again as a Top 50 Inclusive Employer
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has again been listed in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List, which recognises those UK companies dedicated to ensuring diversity in the workplace.
Blake Morgan has been ranked in 39th place for the 2020/21 edition of the guide and this means the firm has been listed in the top 50 for four years running, representing a continued push from the firm to be a leading employer.
The rankings – a definitive list of UK organisations that promote inclusion across all protected characteristics throughout each level of employment – identify employers who lead the way across all strands of diversity – age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, faith, and religion. To be considered for the rankings, the firm was required to provide significant evidence of their work in a range of areas, including recruitment procedures, training, workforce data and diversity related initiatives and education.
Bruce Potter, Blake Morgan’s Chairman and EDI Champion, said:
I’m immensely proud to see Blake Morgan named again in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List. Evidence clearly shows that successful businesses are those that put inclusivity and diversity at the heart of what they do. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is a golden thread that runs through the firm, informing our policies, processes and approach to management – it’s a genuine commitment. We’re pleased to be ranked again and would like to thank all our people for their work to ensure we’re not only a leading law firm, but a trailblazing, inclusive employer too.
Blake Morgan is a signatory of the Business in the Community (BITC) Race at Work Charter, the Social Mobility Pledge and Time to Change pledge, as well as being a Stonewall Diversity Champion. The firm also has a dedicated equality, diversity and inclusion committee, and a wealth of resources in an internal training academy which actively seek to raise awareness and provide support and guidance to all within the business.
