Blake Morgan continues to strengthen connections and increase representation within the Confederation of British Industry (CBI).

The law firm has been members of the CBI for seven years, joining the likes of Amazon UK, BAE Systems, Diageo, John Lewis, Royal Mail, and Vodafone. The confederation  plays a vital role in voicing the views of over 190,000 businesses in the UK, and has provided excellent guidance over the past 12 turbulent months.

Partner, Jill Bainbridge – who heads Blake Morgan’s Intellectual Property group and Trade Mark prosecution team as well as the Commercial Litigation teams in the South and Wales – has recently been appointed on the CBI’s International Trade Advisory Group.

She joins Susie Dryden, Partner in the Commercial Litigation team, who plays an active role as a member of the South East Regional Council within the CBI.

In December, Corporate Tax Partner Cathy Bryant, who is already a member of the CBI’s Employment Taxes Group, was elected for a three-year term on the CBI Wales Council. Additionally, Real Estate Senior Associate Hollie Jones has been recognised as a future leader and joined the CBI’s up and coming under 35’s Committee in January of this year to add to Blake Morgan’s influence within the CBI.
