Blake Morgan features in The Times Best Law Firms Guide 2023

Posted on 4th November 2022

Blake Morgan has again been featured in The Times Best Law Firms Guide in 2023 – this year within both the commercial dispute resolution and family law categories.

The Times highlights Blake Morgan’s expanding healthcare expertise – noting that the firm has been reappointed to the legal services framework for NHS Resolution, formerly the NHS Litigation Authority, the body that deals with disputes concerning patients. The law firm also continues to advise NHS England and the Welsh Blood Service in the infected blood inquiry.

International litigation work is also featured, with Blake Morgan acting for three separate UK companies and their liquidators to raise proceedings against First Curaçao International Bank related to a multimillion-pound fraud case.

The firm’s family law team were a new entry in the guide for this year. The team assist clients with a wide range of financial work, including divorce proceedings and nuptial agreements, while also acting on child arrangement orders and care proceedings.

The Times Best Law Firms listing recognises the expertise and quality of advice delivered by leading law firms and is entirely peer selected.

Working with international market research company Statista, solicitors in the UK were asked for their opinions in any of the 28 categories covering business, public and private client fields. To make sure the survey was fair, respondents were not allowed to choose their own law firm, and technology and other scrutiny was put in place to prevent anyone from voting more than once.
