Blake Morgan partner Alison McClure, is supporting business professionals on the South Coast to meet their professional development and business objectives having recently qualified as an Executive Business Coach.

Alison has spent the last 18 months studying business coaching and how to bring greater clarity to the way leaders think through Meyer Campbell – a world renowned executive coach training and leadership development community.

With over 25 years Board level experience in professional services, Alison has been responsible for driving through key business transformation projects. Her management specialisms include building high performance teams, developing leadership capabilities in individuals and creating and implementing solutions to leadership and management challenges. Her wealth of experience combined with the coaching techniques learnt through her latest accreditation will help Alison unleash the potential of business owners and senior managers by helping them to overcome the challenges preventing them from meeting their business objectives.

Commenting on her qualification, Divisional Director of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Alison said: “A good business coach will ask you questions that challenge you to think critically about your business and find the solutions to the issues that prevent you from meeting your objectives. Every business has its blind spots and when you are too close to something it can be hard to have an objective point of view.

“The Meyer Campbell course has equipped me with the skills to help business leaders find the solutions and strategies that will take their business to the next level. My proudest career achievements have been the development of others and I look forward to taking on this coaching role in a more professional capacity.”

Alison is committed to encouraging gender diversity in the workplace and supporting personal and professional development of her colleagues.  She has been described by Legal 500 as “a formidable businesswoman” and was named an ‘Eminent Practitioner’ by Chambers and Partners..  She has driven through key business transformation projects at Blake Morgan and enjoys a strong reputation amongst clients, competitor firms and the Bar.  Her background as a health care litigation specialist has won her consistent recognition in the leading legal directories and she was crowned ‘Professional of the Year’ at the 2018 Venus Awards.
