Blake Morgan promotes 37 lawyers in recognition of successful year

Leading law firm Blake Morgan has rewarded the work of lawyers across its offices in London, Wales, the Thames Valley and on the South Coast with a raft of promotions.

Thirty seven individuals have been promoted, in recognition of their efforts to support the continued success of the firm over the last year and the excellent legal counsel they have provided to clients.

Eight lawyers have been promoted to Legal Director, while promotions have been awarded at Senior Associate, Associate, Senior Solicitor, and Senior Paralegal levels across Blake Morgan’s sector teams and offices.

Following a successful year, the Property Services team has seen nine lawyers promoted, with Victoria Morley-Jones promoted to Legal Director and Tanya Barrett, Marisa Abrahams, Ben Bystry and Sophie Boswell making the move to Senior Associate. Soul Kayoueche has been promoted to Associate, while James Helps, Abigail Rorsman and Rishin Patel’s contributions to the team have been recognised in their promotions to Senior Solicitor.

Elsewhere, the Construction team is celebrating success with the promotion of Simon Lewis to Senior Associate, and Gemma Hill and Sadie Pitman to Associate.

There is also a pair of promotions in the Corporate team, with James Vaughan being promoted to Legal Director and James Bowen to Associate, reflective of their continued efforts to provide a high standard of service to clients and support the success of the firm.

In Commercial Litigation, six lawyers have been promoted, reflecting a strong year for the team. Joanna Corbett-Simmons and Sarah Whittle have both been promoted to Legal Director, with Joe Cowles promoted to Senior Associate. Elin Walker has been promoted to Associate, while Vikki Sidaway and Henry Watkinson round off promotions within the team, having both achieved the position of Senior Solicitor.

The Banking & Finance team has seen four lawyers rewarded for their work. Katherine Tan and Jake Holmes have been promoted to Legal Director and Senior Associate respectively, while Iona Easton and Richard Rogers have been promoted to Associate and Senior Solicitor.

The Risk and Compliance team is celebrating two promotions to Legal Director, with Craig Loweth and Jack Wiseman-White making the step up to the position.

In the Private Client team, Laura Bennett has been made a Senior Associate, Laura Richards has been given a promotion to Associate, and Rebecca Stevens has been promoted to Senior Paralegal.

The Regulatory team has seen three promotions, with Katherine Knowles and Gem Casey becoming Associates and Lucie Byng making the step up to Senior Solicitor.

Kirsteen Hook has been made a Legal Director in the Commercial and Charities team, with Laura Sherratt becoming an Associate.

Hannah Smith-Herne will begin a new role as Senior Associate in the Commercial Recoveries and Travel team, while Lucinda Cameron and James Burrough have both been promoted to Senior Paralegal.
