Blake Morgan reappointed to support NHS Resolution

Posted on 8th February 2022

Blake Morgan has been reappointed to the legal services framework for NHS Resolution, the organisation which helps the NHS resolve concerns and disputes fairly.

The new framework consists of two panels of law firms, which will provide health-related legal services over the next three years, and comes into effect on 1 March 2022. Blake Morgan is one of eight firms appointed to the panel that will supply specialist advice on regulatory, health and employment law to NHS Resolution and other arm’s length bodies of the Department of Health and Social Care. The panel has an estimated annual expenditure of £5m per annum.

In addition to working with NHS England, this significant reappointment will enable the leading law firm to continue supporting legal work at the forefront of medical science for the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority.

Bruce Potter, Commercial Partner, who leads the NHS Resolution team said:

I would like to congratulate everyone who has done such a great job of looking after the NHS – particularly during the challenges presented by the pandemic – and delivered work across a complex portfolio of health-related issues, over the course of our current contract. I'd also like to thank all the team involved in re-tendering for this framework.
