Blake Morgan rewards 57 lawyers and support staff in latest promotions round

Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced the promotion of 57 lawyers and support staff who work across its offices on the South Coast, the Thames Valley, London and Cardiff.

The latest round of promotions reflect these individuals’ commitment to finding relevant, realistic legal solutions for their clients and their ongoing contribution to the continued success of Blake Morgan.

Following an outstanding year, Blake Morgan’s Property team have seen 20 promotions across the regions, with three of the team stepping up to Legal Director: Matthew Bell, Adam Carbis and Steven Thom.  Supporting them, Natalie Lawley, Andrew Morgan, Victoria Morley-Jones and Rachel Sales have all been promoted to Senior Associate.

Also in the Property team, Tanya Barrett, Holly Dobbins, David George, Rhiannon Peploe-Williams, and Charlotte West celebrate their promotions to Associate, while Charlene Armstrong, Lance Davis, Leoni Dempsey and Soul Kayoueche have stepped up to Senior Solicitor.  Matt Ivey and Rachel Shepherd have also been rewarded with promotions to Senior Paralegal, with Emma Fell and Wahhaj Hassan supporting the team in their new roles as Paralegals.

Blake Morgan’s Regulatory team have also been rewarded for the year’s successes, with James Danks, Antonia Dowgray and Delme Griffiths all moving up to Legal Director.  Also celebrating are Katherine Blackburn and Matthew Corrie who have stepped up to Senior Associate, while Katherine Plunkett has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.

The promotion of both Conor Daly and Ben Evans to Legal Director in the Commercial Litigation team demonstrates the strong year the team has had.  David Moore is taking on a new role as Associate, and both Tom Beard and Olivia Shenton-Taylor will continue to support the team as they step up to Senior Solicitor.

Within the Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Immigration (EPBI) teams, Gillian McCue and Sean McNulty have been promoted to Legal Director, Vicky Schollar is now Senior Associate and Maddie Mould becomes an Associate.  Supporting them, Nia Pawley has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.

The year’s successes in the Banking and Finance team have been rewarded with four promotions.  Paul Duggan and Danielle Collett-Bruce begin new roles as Legal Director and Senior Associate respectively, while Katherine Tan is now a Senior Associate.  Jake Holmes will support the team from his new position as Associate.

Keith Lancaster has been promoted to Legal Director in the Construction team, with Charlotte Neads and Adrian Noviss stepping up to Senior Associate and Associate respectively.  Sadie Pitman has been rewarded for her successes this year with a promotion to Senior Solicitor.

It’s been a busy year for the Private Client team who celebrate four promotions. Jennifer Williamson steps up to Legal Director while Ben Coulson and Rachel Giles have been promoted to Associate.  Stephen Evans will be supporting the team in his new position as Senior Solicitor.

In the Commercial and Charities teams, the year’s successes – including assistance to charities during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak – have been recognised, with Tomos Lewis being promoted to Associate and both Ollie Clymow and Laura Sherratt stepping up to Senior Solicitor.

The Corporate team at Blake Morgan see Daniel Conway take on a new role as Associate, while Vicky Bills and Amy Murphy have been rewarded for their efforts with promotions to Senior Solicitor.  In their new roles they will continue to provide expert advice and support on a range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and disposals.  Further, in the Commercial Recoveries team, Hannah Smith-Herne has made the step up to Associate.

In addition to the promotions across the firm, Karen Kirk has been promoted to Risk Director, and within her team, Jack Wiseman-White has been promoted to Senior Associate.
