The firm was proud to continue their support of the sector as they sponsored the 'Building bright futures for child and families' award.
The category celebrated organisations, settings or projects that had been working with children, young people, families and their carers to help them achieve what mattered to them.
Congratulations and thank you to all those who reached the finals of the Accolades – an excellent achievement – and to the category winner, Newport City Council for its Oaklands Short Breaks Service, which provides short-term breaks for children with additional needs. The service supports families by providing their children with a safe, caring and nurturing family-oriented home from home. Before the children stay, the service finds what really matters to the children, so it can support the children positively throughout their stay, relieving any anxieties they may have. Adoption UK Cymru’s ‘TESSA (LLWYBRAU: PATHWAYS)’ project and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council’s ‘Pathway to Work’ project were worthy runners up and were awarded Highly Commended certificates.
Blake Morgan was proud and privileged to be involved and to be among so many who truly inspirational people who make such make a difference to the wellbeing of people and communities in Wales.

Roedd Blake Morgan yn falch o noddi categori yng Ngwobrau 2023, a oedd yn dathlu cyflawniadau’r gweithlu gofal cymdeithasol, blynyddoedd cynnar a gofal plant yng Nghymru ar 27 Ebrill 2023, yn Neuadd y Ddinas, Caerdydd.
Roedd y digwyddiad yn cydnabod cyflawniadau pobl a phrosiectau sydd wedi gwneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol i fywydau pobl yng Nghymru. Roedd Garry Owen, Newyddiadurwr a Chyflwynydd, BBC Cymru a Sue Evans, Prif Weithredwr Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru yn westeiwyr gwych, gyda’r seremoni wobrwyo ei hun yn cael ei ffrydio’n fyw ar YouTube. Darparodd Julie Morgan, AS a’r Dirprwy Weinidog dros Wasanaethau Cymdeithasol neges agoriadol a chroesawodd Mick Giannasi, CBE, Cadeirydd Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru bawb a gyrhaeddodd y rownd derfynol, eu cefnogwyr a rhai eraill a oedd yn bresennol o bob rhan o’r sectorau gofal cymdeithasol, iechyd, gwyddorau bywyd a gwirfoddol.
Roedd y seremoni’n ddwyieithog a chafodd hefyd ei chyfieithu i Iaith Arwyddion Prydain. Dehonglwyr y seremoni oedd Julie Doyle a Stephen Brattan-Wilson.
Mae gan Blake Morgan enw da ers tro ar draws y sector iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol preifat, cyhoeddus, gwirfoddol a chydweithredol yng Nghymru a thu hwnt ac mae’n gweithredu dros lawer o’r darparwyr mwyaf yn y sector, yn ogystal â’i reoleiddwyr yng Nghymru.
Roedd y cwmni’n falch o barhau â’u cefnogaeth i’r sector wrth iddynt noddi’r wobr ‘Adeiladu dyfodol disglair i blant a theuluoedd‘.
Roedd y categori yn dathlu sefydliadau, lleoliadau neu brosiectau a fu’n gweithio gyda phlant, pobl ifanc, teuluoedd a’u gofalwyr i’w helpu i gyflawni’r hyn sy’n bwysig iddynt.
Llongyfarchiadau a diolch i bawb a gyrhaeddodd rowndiau terfynol y Gwobrau – cyflawniad ardderchog – ac i enillydd y categori, Cyngor Dinas Casnewydd am ei Wasanaeth Seibiannau Byr Oaklands, sy’n darparu seibiannau tymor byr i blant ag anghenion ychwanegol.
