Blake Morgan to host leading business organisation’s keynote lecture

Blake Morgan has become a member of Southampton Business School’s Executive Learning Partnership (ELP) and will host the organisation’s Keynote Lecture in August.

The lecture is a top-level monthly masterclass on current business issues and is delivered by industry experts, master practitioners and specialist academics.

The event will be held at Blake Morgan’s offices in Chandlers Ford from 6pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, August 1.

Blake Morgan is among a number of partners – including JP Morgan, Ordnance Survey and the RNLI – to send senior managers and potential leaders to the events to develop their skills and knowledge and meet fellow professionals.

The lecture hosted by Blake Morgan will feature renowned international speaker and adventurer Manley Hopkinson. Manley will share his many lessons for business leaders from his personal leadership experiences, including as an Officer in the Royal Navy during the first Gulf War, circumnavigating the world, and recently winning the inaugural race to the Magnetic North Pole. The focus of the lecture will be “collective brilliance”.

The ELP was established four years ago as an innovative way for leading companies to keep up to date with new models of leadership and latest business thinking and tap into the resources and influential research of the University of Southampton.

The ELP will host its annual Leadership Debate later this month on March 23. It is a lively interactive session featuring a panel of prominent businessmen and women.
