SRA appoints Blake Morgan to provide legal services to its legal and enforcement team
Leading UK law firm Blake Morgan has secured a prestigious appointment to offer legal service to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), a key legal sector regulatory body.
Blake Morgan will work alongside Capsticks, carrying out investigations and representing the SRA at proceedings before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This role supports the work of the SRA, which is responsible for regulating the professional conduct of more than 160,000 practising solicitors and other authorised individuals.
The appointments were won through a competitive tender following a rigorous and comprehensive procurement process by the SRA. The new contracts will begin on 1 November 2023 for an initial period of three years.
For Blake Morgan, the work will be led by regulatory partners James Danks, Clare Strickland and Delme Griffiths.
