Is it possible to be divorced without knowing?

Yes! We revisit a case that highlighted again that fraudulent divorce is possible, but confirmed that any decrees obtained in this way are capable of being set aside.

A ’cause of action’ can be transferred from a person after death

We look back at a High Court decision where it was ruled that a right to pursue a court case (a ’cause of action’) can transfer from a person after their death to the executor of their estate.
