Scam emails – May 2021

We have been made aware of emails circulating purporting to be from Lisa Turner, a Finance Assistant at Blake Morgan, which is incorrect. The fake mail addresses used are [email protected] and [email protected].

Scammers are attempting to persuade people they owe money to the firm. This is not a genuine email and has not been sent by this firm, Blake Morgan or any of our employees. We would like to thank those who have brought this to our attention.

Common ways to spot a scam email:

• Offer seems too good to be true
• Message encourages you to click on a link which contains a mismatched URL or misleading domain name
• Message contains poor spelling or grammar
• You are asked to send money or give personal details or passwords

While we have no control over this activity, we apologise to anyone who has been inconvenienced by emails of this nature and have taken the appropriate action to protect our clients and contacts.
