We advise clients on what they can and cannot do under sanctions legislation and the consequences of any sanctions violations. We assist with due diligence on potential counterparties and target companies and businesses to check that they are not affected by sanctions. We draft appropriate contractual protections and advise on the consequences of sanctions on existing contracts and investments. We advise on compliance programmes and provide training. Export controls

We advise on the application of export controls to products and on whether exemptions or licences may be available.

Customs

We advise on all aspects of the import and export of goods and customs, including classification and quotas, country of origin, and customs enquiries and investigations.
