Solicitor NQ-1 PQE – Construction

We are looking for NQ-1 PQE Solicitor with experience within a Construction seat to join our growing team.  As part of a new phase of expansion the successful applicant will become part of our established multi-site practice, with the opportunity to develop a broad-based skill set across contentious and non-contentious matters.  Whether newly qualified or holding previous experience as a Solicitor in another firm, you must demonstrate a career interest in developing as a Construction lawyer and be familiar with JCT forms of contract from a purely construction perspective.
Whilst this role will be predominantly based in Southampton, you will be part of our large construction team who work across all of our offices.  We support hybrid working, typically with flexible 2-3 day office attendance according to business need.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•       NQ-1 PQE (Previous seat in Construction required)
•       You should be familiar with JCT and NEC
•       Any experience of NEC, PPP, PFI, FIDIC, ICHEME would be helpful.
•       Confident and personable
•       Strong technical competence
•       Intellectual ability
•       Exceptional self-motivation

•       Good communication skills (verbal and written)
•       Commercial awareness
